Malaysia 2009
Possibly the longest entry evarr (No kidding!) with lots of photos. I'm sorry. I couldn't decide which photos to include! I totally feel what Bianca Twitted (Twitted?!) a few weeks ago! Sorry. So yup, Malaysia trip. Tried to lessen the amount of photos but this is the best I can come up with. Haha! Click images for extremely larger versions. =D
So we took a bus from Singapore to Malaysia. It was one flashy bus, comfy seats and all! Plus they had a TV thingy at the back of the seat just like the ones in a international aeroplanes. Pretty neat. I wanted to play Super Mario (the one and only video game that I like!) but I was so freaking tired that I slept all throughout the 6 hour ride! Well, Kuala Lumpur reminded me so much of Manila. The weather, the place, the atmosphere even the traffic jam except the people maybe. Lots of foreigners!

Photo 1: Arrived at Kuala Lumpur at about 3am. The bus station was freaking isolated! We didn't have a booking at a hotel so we had to stay at the bus station and look for one.Photo 2: Sister and I somewhere in Bukit Bintang.
Photo 3&4:Therefore, I conclude that Philippines has the best KFC on earth! Malaysia's KFC is nothing compared to ours. They had weird tasting rice and the chicken isn't as juicy as ours. AND most of all they didn't have the infamous KFC gravy. I asked one of the crew for gravy, she gave me this weird look then proceeded to give me the gravy.
Photo 1: At KLCC!Photo 2: Having merienda at Dunkin Donuts. It's good to know that their donuts are still of normal size =D. The ones here in Philippines have shrunk down to 50% AND they still had the nerve to add 1peso to the price.
Photo 3: I'm doing the pogi sign in most of my photos in our Malaysia trip...but it has a deeper meaning. I'm doing it because during the trip I started getting headaches plus diarrhea which are symptoms of the A(H1N1) virus. So I researched about it and I'm like "Geez. Headache? Check! Fatigue? Check! Diarrhea? Check!" HAHA! The pogi sign is actually a Diarrhea?Check! sign! Hahaha!
Photo 4: Mom likes to take "candid" shots. =))
Photo 1: Of course...what's a visit to Malaysia without visiting the Petronas Twin Towers?Photo 2: Apparently, tickets for that day were sold out! So we're like DAMNNNNNN. But this Indian (?) man came up to us and told us he had two extra tickets and offered it to us. Mom stayed behind since, well, there were only two tickets plus she's already been there!
Photo 3: At the Skybridge!
Photo 4: A view from the bridge?Cute noh?
Photo 5: After the Sky Bridge visit.
Photo w/ no number: Haha! Forgot to number! Anyway, that's me and my sister at comparing our heights to the famous towers all over the world via this machine thingy. Haha!
The Petronas Twin Towers. Absolutely breathtaking at night. It glows! So cute!
Heading back to the guest house from KLCC. Mom's checking the map. And look who I saw in the streets of Kuala Lumpur....Wu Chun! Hahaha!
That's me obviously with Shareeta (middle) and her cousin Rishni. Shareeta's an old friend from intermediate school. She now lives in Malaysia. Anyway, I met up with her. We had donuts at Pavilion and then had drinks and sisha somewhere in Bangsar.
We went to Batu Caves! Seriously awesome place. Upon your arrival you are greeted by a golden giant Hindu idol and heaps of pigeons! It's like a scene from the movie Milan minus the golden idol!
You have to climb 272 steps before actually getting in the temple.
Got to the top and there was this man who had a snake. I was instantly drawn to the creature! I love snakes! Super cool creatures! Hahaha! Dad has a pet snake and he refuses to bring them to us whenever he visits us. =\ Anyway, I had to pay 5 ringgit for the photo session with the snake. Haha!
After climbing 272 steps you are greeted by more stairs inside. Yup. Totally cool. I was sweating profusely! Plus there were tons of insects! Mosquitoes I suppose. When we got back down I had like millions of insect bites and itched all over. There were other places that I wanted to go to but Mom wanted to get out of the place as soon as possible. I guess the snakes, lizards and monkeys made her uneasy.
Stuff you'd see inside. I kept humming Jai Ho the entire time we were there! AHAHAHA!
My sister was very much amused by this idol. As well as everyone who has seen this photo. I think it's the boobs? Haha!
The toilet. I was like O_O. Kind of awkward and uncomfy but whatevs.
Monorail. Kind of like their version of MRT I guess. It's a lot like our MRT system. Haha! They used old school MRT cards just like here in the RP. As of now, I prefer this over the confusing Singaporean MRT system. Haha! Geez. Next time I go to Singapore I'll find someone who can tutor me about their MRT system! Haha!
Walking around the streets of Bukit Bintang! It's nice to walk around there especially at night! Visited Starhill which was maily consisted of high end stores so I didn't buy anything. I was contented looking at all the pretty expensive things the stores sold.- So when we were trying to find our way to Batu Caves we asked this random cab driver if he could take us to the bus station and he was like "Okay, 30 ringgit." And of course we knew that he was OVERPRICING hardcore so we left and then he started running after us and said "Okay 25 ringgit!" and of course still waaayy overpriced so we ignored him and continued walking and then he goes "20 ringgit!" still ignored. And then he goes again "15!" STILL ignored him! And then AGAIN "Okay okay 10 ringgit" I finally shot him a You-are-an-asshole-for-trying-to-rip-off-tourists look and he finally backed off. What an assholeeeee! 30 ringgit for a 5 minute walk!
- The night we arrived in KL I met this Russian guy at the first guest house we inquired at. He asked me where we are from then when he found out I'm Filipina he started speaking in Tagalog. Well, phrases and stuff. You know Magandang umaga, kamusta ka, mahal kita etc. Haha! Totally adorable. He told me he used to work in Dubai and he had lots of Filipino co-workers who thought him a few Tagalog words. Apparently, he has been in Malaysia for about three months AND has visited quite a number of Asian countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore etc. I think his next visits are Australia, New Zealand and then the Philippines. What a lucky guy!
- As some of you might now we missed our flight back to the Philippines so we stayed in KL for another three days. Harhar!

Polyvore Fun!I'm having so much fun in Polyvore! It's like playing dress up without actually having to dress up. It's so fun! Although the fact that I don't have the stuff in my sets in real life makes me a bit sad it's still fun! Haha! Anyway, that's my third set right there. I made it for this style challenge/meme which asks you to create an outfit with tshirt and jeans. Don't you just think that the shoe is adorable? And obviously I'm a bangles freak. I don't really have much bangles in real life though since the ones that I really fancy are either too expensive or too huge! Anyway, if anyone else has a Polyvore account I'd love it if you leave your link so I can visit it. =)

I'm a a couple of chapters away from finishing Mammon Inc. by Hwee Hwee Tan. The plot isn't that great but I love the way how the author wrote it. It's very witty! Very fun to read...well for me at least. I was actually supposed to return this to the university's library last Friday but I was with my friends and you know how we all get when we're with friends right? Suddenly, it's all laughter and fun that you tend to forget almost everything! In my case, I forgot that this was due last Friday so now I have an overdue book and I'll have to pay 10 pesos to the librarian tomorrow. Oh well!
Monday tomorrow. =)
University tomorrow. =D
Physics tomorrow. :|
GOD BLESS! =)

Hullo, I'm Alex! I'm of legal age but secretly a six year old at heart. I don't really like the heat. Ironically, I
live in a country where it's blazing hot 98.9067% of the time. It makes me wonder how I managed to survive after
all these years. I've been struggling to survive university life since June 2007. I often buy random stuff and end up not
using them at all. I like horse back riding and playing billiards...even though I suck at both. Pink is my favourite
colour and I have recently acquired an extreme obsession with the Korean TV series Boys Over Flowers. =)
