Best Day Of My Summer So Far

Best Day Of My Summer So Far

Yesterday I went to Tagaytay with my sis and rellies. It was sort of a celebration for Papo's (He's my uncle, that's what we call him.) birthday and also to show Kuya Chuck around coz he's going back to Bacolod tomorrow.

Warning: Photo heavy!!! Click on the photos to zoom in.

Well...Taal volcano in all its glory!

Me, Sis, J and Bor's head.

We awesome.

Trying on Fedoras at the souvenir shop.

Okay I look really awkward in this photo but I love that cowboy hat!

Keychains. 3 for 50! Haha! Nice deal but I don't use keychains.

Sis, cousins and Ate Cris. See the flying person behind us?

Us with the birthday boy! (In black!)

Okay so when we got there I didn't really know that the zip line thingy was located in Picnic Grove so I was like whoah. Ever since they showed the zip line thing on TV I've been dying to try it out. I was actually planning on doing this for my 18th birthday but the plans changed so I was pretty disappointed and just told myself that I'd do it some other time. So when I saw it in flesh...gosh. It was like torture. I mean it was so near yet so far. I so wanted to try it but I wasn't financially prepared even though it was pretty cheap with PhP200 for a one way trip (300 for two-way). But...my sister suddeenly said "Ano yung tig-100?". I checked on the price and saw that a one way trip was for a hundred pesos during weekdays so I'm like "Today's what? Thursday. Is that a weekday? It is aye? It's a weekday. ". I was like...WHOAH. I can afford to lose a hundred pesos today so we double checked and saw that it was indeed a hundred pesos. And so...

My sister and I tried it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cousin also tried it but he went alone.

See that gigantic smile on my face? I embarrass myself sometimes! Haha!

Away we go!

IT WAS THE BEST FIFTEEN SECONDS OF MY LIFE! It was nerve wracking at first especially when you're waiting for your turn. But once you're there flying...you wouldn't want it to end! AWESOMEEEEEEEE. I mean you're 300 feet above the ground with only the harness to keep you safe. Geez. I felt like an eagle (Naks!)! Everyone who hasn't tried it should try it. You're missing half of your life! I'm definitely gonna do it again and the next time I'm going alone coz I'm brave and courageous just like that. It was just TOO AWESOME for words. I LOVE IT.

My uncle snapped this photo. This was after the zip line experience. We were on the other side of the mountain. Haha!

So after that we went to the horseback riding place coz the kids wanted to go and ride horses. Haha! I wasn't really interested on this. I tried horseback riding before in Baguio but that was like ages ago. I was probably six or seven and I couldn't remember it being fun so I thought it would be boring but...it wasn't. Well it was at first coz I was riding with my little cousin and I was asking the kid who was helping us if he can make the horse run fast and he said he can but only one person can ride the horse coz he's gonna have to be riding with you because he'll control the horse. So I waited until it was my turn again. And it was...awesome. Sorry can't think of any other word to describe it. I just had so much fun that I'm thinking of taking lessons. Ahaha! I think it's expensive though. Anyway, you know how in the movies the people make riding a horse make it look so damn easy? So definitely not. When the horse is running you kind of bounce (Just like in the movies) and it feels like you're gonna fall off any minute. And the stirrups kept bumping onto my feet so now I'm left with a bruise on my left feet. But it's worth it. I love the feeling when the horse runs. And the kid who assisted rode with me was really nice as well. He was very polite.

Random people. They were speaking Ilonggo as well. Apparently they're from Antique. =)

See that brown horse at the front and see my horse? We were having a race! But this random horse was on our way.

Okay see that pink circle I made. That's me! The horse was like fast and I'm like "Weeeee". The kid who assisted me was probably like "WTF!". Haha!

I'm such a tourist.

With cuz.

After riding I realized what I wanted on my 19th birthday. A horse. So if you're thinking of giving me a gift for my birthday (Which is eons away which means that you have all the time to save up for it!), I would like a race horse. Any colour would be all right but black would be cool. If you can give me a ranch to go along with the horse I wouldn't mind as well. And I'm dead serious here. I've even looked up how much they cost and I've started reading their Wikipedia page so yeah. And did you know that the most expensive horse that was sold was for $16,000,000. It was only a colt for crying out loud! Geez. I guess the only kind of horse that I can afford right now is...Red Horse! AHAHAHA! Gawd, I'm lame.

By the way if ever I do get a horse and (Yes I'm hoping.) I've already thought of a name...Ferrari or Porsche. Cute aye? If you have any name suggestions then feel free to comment.

So anyways, I guess that's it for now. Hopefully, more summer adventures for me.
Happy Birthday Papo!

PS
I CANNOT BELIEVE ANOOP GOT VOTED OFF. =(
AND SORRY IF I SOUNDED TOO ECSTATIC. THAT'S JUST BECAUSE...I AM ECSTATIC!

Summer Randoms #2

Summer Randoms #2

I have finally seen Slumdog Millionaire after 435 years. A really good movie. Anyone who has not seen it should see it. Really awesome. I especially loved the Amitabh Bachchan scene. So hilarious! The ending was...odd though. I mean the dancing part. But I still love it. 9/10. I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button as well. It's so ironic that it's based from a short story yet the movie was loooooooooooooong. There were a lot of boring parts; my sister and I decided to fast forward on those scenes! Haha! I give it a 7/10.

Ha! Obviously I haven't been doing much apart from bumming around. And obviously I'm back at my cousins' hence the update. Tomorrow we're headed somewhere so hopefully the sky clears up. But me luvz teh rain vair much so I don't mind if it doesn't! I hate the heat!

P.S.
Maybe they'll adopt me.
And I reckon that either Danny Gokey or Adam Lambert or Anoop Desai should win AI. Really.

Summer Randoms #1

Summer Randoms #1

Hello! I'm currently in Mom's office. We were at the DFA earlier this morning to renew our passports but there was a minor problem so we might have to go back another day. It's a relief though that Mom's a government employee we don't have to go and line up with the non-government employee people. The line is unbelievable. Government employees have this courtesy lane thingy so the line is a loooooooooot shorter than the regular line. Anypoo, it's 12:02 noon in my clock and I still haven't had lunch yet. I'm craving for Japanese food!

I am supposedly at Fisher's Farm with Inex right now. Summer outing sana kaso kahapon nung nagpaalam ako na magsi-swimming kami sinabihan ako ni Mama na pupunta nga kami ng DFA. Tsk, it sucks. I was excited and everything. I've already packed my stuff and then I find out that I won't be ale to go. Anyway, hahaha! I'll leave you with a couple of random photos. Yes, my eye bags are humongous and I have gross skin (Hello breakouts!) but I've no way of photoshopping them so whatever!

I look....odd.

HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE!!!
GOD BLESS.

PS
Free internet access always makes me happy.

Because My Blog Is Inaamag Na

Because My Blog Is Inaamag Na

After my last post I had tons of requirements as usual and then hell week a.k.a final exams. And then right after the exam week I went home and we've no internet connection at home thus no anything.

The two poorly constructed sentences above is my explanation of why it took me a month and three days to post another blog. A pretty lame excuse but it's the truth. And Mark said that inaamag na daw ang blog ko so I decided to update na. Anyway, since I've already started to blab about uni stuff...I am very pleased to inform the entire universe that I passed all my subjects! Yes, even Logic. I really thought that I was going to flunk it since I didn't take the subject seriously. But...thank heavens. You have no idea how happy and thankful I am. Third year na ako!!! Four more semsters to go!!!

I am currently back here at the "boarding house" to babysit my cousins for today. I'm sleeping over so I can surf the net as much as I want. Geez, I love it here! Hahaha! I also got my computer reformatted by my uncle and I luvz it! It was all messed up for about a month. It was slow and it kept crashing but it's totally fine now. Lesson learned: Never insert your USB flash drive in random PCs.

Anyone loving Lady Gaga as much as I do? I have been listening to her songs for the past two weeks now. Her songs are kick ass. It's addictive. I can't stop listening. I'm starting to really like Katy Perry as well. The only thing that I have been listening to since yesterday is Thinking Of You. And Adam Lambert is starting to really amaze me but no one will ever compare to Danny Gokey. Gokey FTW! How about choo? Who do you think will win American Idol Season 808? Haha!

That's pretty much all.
GOD BLESS.

PS
I made an entry dedicated especially to incoming college freshmen. Read it here.
I miss everyone!
