[FAN ACCOUNT] The Party: My 2NE1 Experience

Okaaaaay. I wanted to blog while everything is still fresh...Hhmm, actually last night was a bit hazy. I can't remember most of it. Shux. It was just so surreal.

And this is gonna be a long detailed blogged because you know that's how I roll. I like it detailed! Brace yourselves to a loooong blog and major fangirl spazzing!

I went with my sister and my friend Joyce. We met up at Makati at about 12PM. Had lunch, hung around for a bit and tried to stalk the girls at their press con but miserably failed. Haha!

We left Makati at about half past 4 and arrived at Cubao a little before 5. There were tons of people outside Araneta! 2NE1 songs were playing and the place was buzzed with excitement!

That is me being irritated because it was hella hot. That is Joyce being irritated but looking happy.

About to go in the venue. DSLRs weren't allowed but I know some people who got theirs in. Para paraan! =))

We got in the venue at 6:30 I think. We had lowerbox seats and it was good because I expected we'd be farther away but we were actually pretty close. I think we had better view than those in the  back part VIP seats. =D

We had to wait for quite a bit before the show started. About an hour I think? The show started at 7 :30. Lights dimmed and the crowd went wild!

It was opened by the first (of the five) other performers which was Techy Romantics. They were good I guess but their music wasn't my type so I got bored. They performed 3 or 4 songs (I couldn't really tell whether they were starting a new song since all their songs sounded the same to me! Haha!) for about 15 minutes.


Next up was papa Christian Bautista. ^___^ He sounded weird. Like loud or something. I dunno. Maybe it was the sound system? He sang three songs which ate up 15 minutes. No, he didn't get boos from the audience. I think they actually loved him. Hello he's so pogi kaya! HAHA! Tsaka Blackjacks are nice people! We're like so awesome and we don't hate!

Then OMFG!!! Can't Nobody played and someone with the infamous palm tree ascended from the stage. Of course the crowd went crazy including me! At the back of my mind though I was thinking "They're not supposed to come out yet!!!" And then she turned around and it was...the comedienne Giselle Sanchez as Luneta Park! Haha! She served as the host (along with HTown a hiphop artist I think he was) between break when performers set up their stuff on stage.Had monologues which made the crowd laugh.


The Bloomfields were up next. They performed three songs which took up 15 minutes. They were pretty good. I like the songs and the drummer/vocalist was cute. He could pass as our very own Seungri's long lost brother! They were nice and thanked the crowd for being nice to them: "Thank you guys for being nice to us even though we know it's 2NE1 you came here for!"

Next up was another break with Giselle. They had games and gaveaway Lenka and Sum41 tickets! Blah blah blah fast froward. Next up was the other performer I was looking forward to see perform...

Callalily! They performed a total of  4 or 5 songs I think! They took up a little over 30 minutes all in all! It was crazy though. Callalily were total performers. Especially their vocalist Kean. He is such a rockstar! He jumped off the stage and went to the crowd. He's so freakin' sexy. Yum yum! Haha! He took off his shirt rin pala! Edi party party! WOOHOO! It had a purpose. I'm not sure if he inverted his shirt or he got a new one but when he put the shirt back on it said I ♥ DARA. So cute! Loved their Magbalik performance! Screamed a little bit but I didn't go all out since I was saving my energy for 2NE1! Haha!

And theeeeeeennnnn...another little break with Giselle and HTown. Haha! Then they introduced the last "opening act" which was the Philippine All Stars. By this time I was getting really nervous and excited! Haha! I was having a little countdown in my head all throughout the "opening acts" and finally...this is the last one!!!

Anyway, All Stars were All Stars. They were good but I wasn't really impressed. I've seen better. But gosh, the girl dancers had AMAZING ABS! I swear! I could see it from where we were and I think we were about 300 metres away from the stage! Now I feel inspired. I shall never miss a single workout session from now on. Give me three months and I'd be wearing midriff shirts to show off my abs! Haha! OPkay so whatever, they performed for a little over 10 mins and yes if you're wondering I was timing every performance. I was.

AND THEEEEEEEEENNNNNN...after that....THIS HAPPENED...

Lights dimmed there were fireworks...ARANETA WENT BALLISTIC! Screams everywhere! I couldn't even hear me scream and I was screaming WITH ALL MY MIGHT. Got tired soon after coz they were making us crazy! The intro was so loooooong! The crowd started chanting "2NE1 2NE1 2NE1!!!!" It was CRAZY!!!The intro took about 5 whole fckng minutes I think.

Then the intro to Pretty Boy played and the girls' face flashed on the huge screen and MORE SCREAMING FROM THE CROWD! I thought Araneta was going EXPLODE!

Just when I thought the screaming reached its highest level... FIRE STARTED PLAYING AND THE SCREAMING GOT LOUDER...THEN TANGINUUUUUUUUHHHHH... THE GIRLS STARTED TO ASCEND FROM THE STAGE. This is it! This is really is it! There they were...MY FAVOURITE GIRLS...IN FLESH. OMFG!!! By this moment I was dying. WAS DYING. I think Araneta was dying with me too! The videos don't do Araneta's screaming justice! It was SO  loud. Emotions overflowed! Everyone was SO happy!

Halfway through the song I stopped recording because I wanted to concentrate on fangirling, screaming and jumping. Besides Joyce was taking photos and my sister and another friend Jaja was also taking videos. They were doing the job for me so haha!

After Fire they introduced themselves. I LOVED IT when Minji said "Ako si Minji! Magandang gabi!" with a Koren accent. We couldn't see them up close but from where we were we could see how gorgeous everyone was! Gah! Their outfits were pretty blah but whatever.I also loved it when CL said "Okay. Let's go the stage. Back to the stage!" Like a boss baby!


They sang Go Away, Lonely, Please Don't Go, In or Out and then Can’t Nobody. Every performance was unbelievable. I mean OMG I'm hearing it LIVE! LIVE! I was in the same room with my favourite girls! We were all breathing the same air. It was so surreal.  I was screaming and the crowd was screaming and  it was so loud I could hardly hear the girls' voice sometimes! Then after Can't Nobody they said bye and went backstage. The lights went off and everyone sat back down. Not saying a word. I'm not sure if it's because they knew that that wasn't the end or maybe because they were speechless that it was going to be that short.

Anyway, a few moments later we heard CL's voice saying something along these lines:

"YOU WANNA HEAR MORE??"
Crowd screams like crazy to let CL know that HELL YEAH WE WANT MORE!!!"
"I WANNA HEAR YOU SCREAM"
Crowd screams to fullfill the baddest female's request.
"LOUDER!!!!"
Crowd screams louder. I think if CL said "Do backflips!" the crowd would be more than willing to oblige!

Then they came out again and performed Clap Your Hands! And then I Don't Care.

I loved I Don't Care! Everyone was singing along! And I loved the "Clap your hands to this" part. Coz everyone was clapping. So cuuuuute! After I Don't Care they said goodbye and Mahal ko kayo. Nobody believed that it was the end so everyone stayed on their seats. Waiting for more. Later on the crowd started chanting "We want more!" for a few minutes. Nothing came out. The they started to clean up the stage. Some people stayed a little more including us! We were in shock and in denial that it was over. HELLO SUPER BITIN! THEIR PERFORMANCE LASTED FOR 30 MINS OR A LITTLE BIT MORE. Believe me. I was timing.  And they didn't even said by properly it was  so abrupt! We like stayed there not wanting to move or accept that it was really over this time. Haha!

We finally left fifteen minutes after then pondered whether we should wait for the girls at Intercon or not. But when we got outside we saw fans waiting for their van so we went there and waited. The van came out after what...30 minutes? They didn't open their windows so mission failed again. =/

So after that we went home. =)

All in all, I had a good time. The show was not as grand as I thought it would be. The other performers performed longer than I thought they would. The girls were as awesome as I thought they were! CL was oozing with swag I swear I can't even! Why is she like that???? Dara was SO sweet and I loved it when she speaks Filipino! Kinikilig ako! Chos! Bom was so makulit! As in! She was like a little kid playing! Minji was amazing. She had an innocent maknae vibe yet she oozed with sexiness! They oozed with charisma and were amazing live! THEY ARE DEFINITELY ONE OF THE IF NOT THE BEST KPOP GIRL GROUP THERE IS.


Am I happy? YES. DUH. OF COURSE.
Did I have fun? YEAH!
Did I feel like I get the most out of my money? NO. They performed for 30 freaking minutes! DUH! I feel sort of ripped off. Maybe if the tickets were priced a bit lower then....yeah. But maybe 2NE1 really did cost the producers so much so whatevs. I mean I know it wasn't going to be a full 2NE1 concert. But I kind of expected a little bit more.
Do I regret going? NOOOOO!!! I have been waiting for this since day one!I would die if I missed this!

Haaay! I'm so thankful!!! Sa Pulp! Sa magulang ko lalo na sa Mama ko dahil pina utang nya ko para sa tickets! Sa 2NE1! Kay Joyce at kapatid ko! Sa Blackjacks na bongga ang energy level! Kay God!!! Haaaay!

Also I want to thank everyone who everyone who wished me to have fun! Grabe ang daming nagtweet saken! Haha! Parang concert ko! Hahaha! Love you guys!
